PBS, a leading national radiology revenue cycle management company with a strong presence in Oregon and clients across the country, is proud to announce its partnership with Radiology Associates, P.C., and Oregon Imaging Centers. Radiology Associates has provided radiologic care to Eugene, Oregon, and Lane County since 1971, establishing a strong presence in the community with excellent and innovative service. Radiology Associates operates Oregon Imaging Centers, a full-service imaging facility, in collaboration with its partner, PeaceHealth. Additionally, they manage the ReNew Institute, which focuses on minimally invasive surgical procedures. The practice provides subspecialized interpretations for five health systems and nine hospitals and medical centers in Oregon, as well as teleradiology interpretations for two hospitals in Alaska. It provides imaging services for dozens of imaging centers and provider offices, including University of Oregon Athletic Medicine, home of the Oregon Ducks football team and an elite track & field program.
This collaboration represents a significant step forward for the group to maximize revenue opportunities while providing quality radiology services throughout the state.
“The PBS team’s efficient work makes us wish we had made the transition from our previous billing companies years ago. Their transparency, expertise, and attention to detail in the field of radiology billing are currently without equal,” says Stephan Thiede, M.D., President of Radiology Associates, P.C.
PBS’s executive team boasts decades of leadership experience in radiology practice and revenue cycle management. PBS clients benefit from the company’s unparalleled knowledge of the business of radiology to maximize reimbursement. The company stays at the forefront of industry changes in reimbursement, reporting requirements, and legislative developments that impact the radiology sector. PBS’s team includes experts in Quality Reporting/MIPS and regulatory guidance. Beyond technology, PBS takes pride in personalized connections with clients. The company prioritizes deepening hospital and payor relationships, maintaining a patient-centric approach to support the nuances of reimbursement in radiology.
PBS President, Nicole Jones-Gerbino, states, “The reimbursement side of radiology is complex, with increasing financial and administrative pressures on radiologists and their practices. It is critical that practices choose a partner who understands the private practice model, imaging center operations, hospital partnerships, and the revenue cycle impact to their business. Our team is honored to serve Radiology Associates and Oregon Imaging Centers to secure the revenue they have earned, working with their physicians and staff to achieve continued success.”
As PBS and RAPC/OIC embark on this exciting partnership, both organizations remain committed to delivering excellence in radiology services and contributing to the healthcare landscape in Oregon.
